On January 24th, 2025, I presented Food for Thought at the Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Highest Awards Expo. There, I was able to educate Girl Scouts of all ages on the benefits of family mealtime and cooking. I was also able to connect with parents, troop leaders, and adult members of GSNC about how family meals and cooking can be incorporated in their own daily lives with their children and families. People had the opportunity to read my children's book, look at my website, read my research, and ask any questions they had about my work.
